Plaza Hotel Denver Central, DEN

The hotel is easy to find just off the highway, offering spacious and clean rooms at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly, but there were issues with communication and housekeeping. The location is convenient for downtown access but affected by nearby construction.

Upon arrival, the room was a bit too hot, making me feel queasy while waiting for it to cool down. It had a lingering smell of smoke, which was not pleasant, and it was located quite far from the breakfast area. On the positive side, the room was immaculately clean, always smelled delightful, and the breakfast spread was delicious with plenty of choices.

My stay at the hotel was overall enjoyable. The rooms provided a very comfy experience with a great view of the city, although minor upgrades like paint and bath fixtures could be considered. However, the inconvenience of having to walk downstairs to use the restroom on the fourth floor was a drawback. The service was a mix - while the staff initially seemed friendly, some communication issues arose, and my belongings were mishandled. The location, though not perfect, served its purpose being close to necessary spots and attractions. Dining had its highs with a breakfast that got the day started, but a lack of variety and inedible options were noticeable. Despite minor flaws, the facilities met the standard expected of a comfortable stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The double bed was very comfortable, perfect for sleeping in late. However, the room felt a bit outdated with some flaws in the bathroom, not as modern as expected. Unfortunately, we missed out on breakfast, but the bed made up for it. The elevator's graffiti was a downside, giving an overall okay experience. The musty smell and stained towels were off-putting, and the morning meal left much to be desired. The highway noise disturbed our sleep, making it hard to rest peacefully.
